Timothy M. Robertson, 61, of Bath, NY passed into eternal peace and healing while surrounded by family on February 8, 2025 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness.
Born Timothy W. Cole, Tim was the son of Melanie (Robertson) Cole and the late Warren D. Cole. He was employed by many firms throughout his life, among them Jordan Supply, RKB, and Pathways. He was a communicant of St. Mary’s in Bath, NY and a member of the Knights of Columbus where he had attained the third degree.
Tim had many interests, including photography, playing the bagpipes, and all things Scottish! He was a member of the Caledonia Highland Pipe Band, and the Southern Tier Scottish American Society, where he was a recipient of the Burns Award. He enjoyed fishing with his brother Scott, going on long walks, and spending time at the beach, especially OBX and Ocean City. Keuka and Lamoka lakes were some of his favorite places. Family and holidays were his favorite ways to collect memories.
Tim was preceded in death by his father Warren D. Cole, and his cousin Christine Beuter.
He is survived by: his mother Melanie (Robertson) Cole-Beardslee and husband Wayne Beardslee; his sister Mary-Elizabeth (Cole) Jerzak and husband Jeffrey; his brother Scott Cole and wife Rebecca; his step-sister Tricia Spencer and husband Scott and their family; step-brother Andrew Beardslee and his wife Kathy and their family; his aunts – Laurie (Robertson) Beuter, and Heather (Robertson) Rhodes and husband Kevin; his uncles – Ernest Cole, III and wife Diane, and Cameron Robertson and wife Maureen, and their families; his nieces – Ashley (Jerzak) Curtis and husband Michael, Erica (Jerzak) Flynn and husband Brian, and Ariana Cole; his nephews – Kaden Cole, Cullin Cole, Andrew Beuter, and Jeremy Rhodes; and many cousins, including Terri Potter Hoey who he was especially close to.
A private memorial service will be held at the convenience of the immediate family.
Memorial donations may be made in Tim’s honor to South Corning United Methodist Church, 12 Caton Road, Corning, NY 14830.
