Robert M. Darrow

Robert “Bob” M. Darrow, 79 of Gillett, PA passed away on Saturday, November 24, 2018 surrounded by his family. Bob was predeceased by his parents, James and Rachel Darrow; loving wife, Hazel Darrow; and five siblings. Bob is survived by his children, Ray (Bonnie) Bixby, Chuck (Joe) Bixby and Joyce Walker; special nieces, Rachel (Scott) DeHaas and Edie (Rick) Narosky; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. Bob was a veteran of the 25th infantry division of the US ARMY serving during the Vietnam War. Bob enjoyed spending time with his family. He enjoyed fishing, playing the lottery and going to the casino. Bob was a loving husband, father A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 30, 2018 at 2 p.m. in Woodlawn National Cemetery where Bob will be accorded with full military honors. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, December 1st, 2018 at South Creek Volunteer Fire Department, Gillett, PA. at 12:30 p.m.
