Rita G. Murphy

Age 83, of Elmira, NY went to be with the Lord on November 10, 2004, at St. Joseph?s Hospital Skilled Nursing Facility.Rita was born June 25, 1921 in Mooers, NY.She was predeceased by her husband of 46 years, Francis, in 1997 and six brothers and sisters.Rita is survived by daughter and son-in-law, Barbara and Daniel Thibault of North York, Ontario; sons and daughters-in-law, Allen and Ruth Murphy of Pine City, NY, John and Lillian Murphy of Brush Prairie, WA; six grandchildren, two great grandchildren; brothers, Ivan Bulriss of Sodus Point, NY, Milton Bulriss of Ellenburg Depot, NY; sisters, June Coryea of Ellenburg Center, NY, Annette Avery of Riverside, CA, Yvonne Bulriss of Plattsburgh, NY; many nieces and nephews.Rita was a long time resident of Syracuse, NY and was retired from St. Joseph?s Hospital in Syracuse.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira on Monday, November 15, 2004 from 2:00 to 3:00 PM with funeral and committal services immediately following (3:00 PM).The Rev. William Wells will officiate.
