Patricia L. Hofman

Was born March 20, 1955 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Charles William and Helen (Collins) Daniels passed away peacefully on Monday, March 14, 2011 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center at the age of 55. Her sister, Nancy Maurer and father-in-law, Hans Hofman predeceased her. She is survived by her best friend and loving husband, Rennie Hofman,who would have marked 39 years of marriage this April 29th; beloved daughters, Tara Wheadon of Elmira, NY; Amber Hofman (Vinnie Capece) also of Elmira, NY; adored grandchildren, Justin and Erica Wheadon; Gavin Struble; siblings, JoAnne (Skip) Andrews, William (Margaret) Daniels, Ellen (Carl) Rose, Teresa Daniels and David (Theresa) Daniels; mother-in-law, Jannie Hofman; step-mother, Marge Daniels; along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, other relatives, many close friends and co-workers. Patricia retired from the Elmira City School District as a dedicated bus driver. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira/Southport, NY on Thursday, March 17, 2011 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM. A Memorial Service honoring her life will follow the visitation at 7 PM. The Reverend John DeSocio will celebrate Pat's service. The family will provide their flowers.
