Mary L. Bement

Bement, Mary L. age 81 of Millerton, PA passed away January 8th, 2016. She was born in Elmira, NY on January 21, 1934, the daughter of the late Charles and Lucille Liskovec. Her husband, Donald Bement Sr. preceded her in 2008; grandson, Bradley Powell in 2014; brother, Joseph Liskovec in 1995. Surviving are her loving children: Deborah (Robert) Rodgers of Corning, Donald (Edith) Bement Jr. of Millerton, Dennis (Marie) Bement of Elmira Heights, Dianna Lynn Parise of Vestal; 11 grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren, many great great grandchildren; sister: Joan Andrews of Elmira, along with several nieces and nephews. She retired from Purolator, and worked in the past for Elmira Stamping. Mary will always be remembered for her perfect ginger snap and her skilled card playing. She loved family gatherings, picnics, rummage sales, collecting, and flowers. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue Elmira, NY Monday, January 11th, 2016 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM. Funeral services celebrating Mary’s life will follow the calling hours at 8:00PM. The family would like a special heartfelt “Thank You” to Anita Deyo and Fantasia Lyons for their special care.
