Age 80, a resident of Country Valley Estates on Babcock Hollow Road Bath, NY passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2003 peacefully at the Ira Davenport Hospital in Hammondsport, NY. She was born June 28, 1923 in Dushore, PA the daughter of the late William and Anna (Bahr) Richlin. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Melvin A. ?Pete? Grinolds on May 2, 2002.She is survived by her children; Donald (Jean) Kobbe of Elmira Heights, NY; Dennis (Barb Allen) Kobbe of Bath, NY; Linda (Roger) Balmer of Horseheads, NY; Daniel (Cindy Dickinson) Kobbe of Monroe, MI; Ann Kinary (Tom Mason) of Hornell, NY; step-children, Marsha (Ronald) Drake of Pine City, NY; Dale (Karen) Grinolds of Myrtle Beach, SC; Daniel (Joan) Grinolds also of Myrtle Beach, SC; grandchildren; Donna Kobbe, Donald Kobbe and Jody Kobbe, William Balmer, Joseph Kinary, along with several great grandchildren; sister, Virginia Richlin of Newark, NY. Lucille, along with her beloved ?Pete?, were the proprietor?s of the Friendly Tavern in Elmira, NY and also the Friendly Tavern in Wayne, NY. She was also a communicant of St. Mary?s Church in Elmira. Lucille was a loving wife, mother and grandmother who will be dearly missed by all.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, November 21, 2003 from 4 to 7 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (7:00 PM) Deacon Bob Stowell will officiate. Interment will take place in St. Peter and Paul?s Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left for the family at www.olthof.com.
