Jolina "Jo" P. Gotham

Jolina "Jo" P. Gotham Age 89, born June 1, 1927 in Shavertown, PA, the daughter of the late Jay and Jolina (Stermer) Pealer, passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 16, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center with her family at her side. She was preceded in death by her sister, Ruth H. Schultz; along with her other siblings. She is survived by her loving and devoted husband of 69 years, Andrew "Jack" Gotham; beloved sons, David (Kathy) Gotham of Kannapolis, NC and Dana J. Gotham of Wellsburg, NY; brother, Dick Pealer of Niagara Falls, NY; grandchildren: Melanie (Jason) Emory, Jay (Nina) Gotham, Robert (Cesaria "Sarah") Gotham; great grandsons: Oliver Gotham and Brandon Fullagar; along with several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Jo retired from Fairway Springs after many years of dedicated service. She attended New Beginnings United Methodist Church. Jolina was an avid knitter,enjoyed her needle point and loved her flowers too. Family and friends are invited to attend Jo's Memorial Service on Thursday, April 20, 2017 at 2:00 pm at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira/Southport, NY. Reverend Leanne Zeck will officiate. Interment will take place in the Maple Grove Cemetery, Horseheads, NY privately at the convenience of her family. Memorial donations may be directed to the Chemung County Humane Society and SPCA, 2435 Route 353, Elmira, NY 14903. Jo's tribute wall may be signed in obituaries at www.olthof.com.
