James L. Laskaris

Age 84, a longtime resident of Southport, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2009 at Chemung County Nursing Facility. His loving wife, Agnes L. Laskaris, predeceased him on April 16, 2007. He is survived by his children; Michael (Pamela) Laskaris, Kathy (Michael) Lasher, James L. (Evelyn) Laskaris Jr., and Thomas (Lisa) Laskaris, grandchildren, Tanya (Oliver) Dreon, Chad (Irene) Laskaris, Alecia (Andy) Cisney, Jaime (James) Slavin, Marni Lasher, Philip Laskaris and Laura Laskaris, along with several great grandchildren, also his brother, Robert Laskaris, and sister Ann Laskaris.James was a United States Navy Veteran of WW II, a retired Conductor for the Penn Central Railroad, and retired Secretary and longtime member of F.O.E. Aerie # 941, and a avid golfer.Family and friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Tuesday, October 13, 2009 from 4:00 to 7:00 PM, with Funeral Service there Tuesday at 7:00 PM.
