Dorothy K. Dailey

Age 92, of Kinyon Street, went to join her Heavenly Father, Sunday, February 1, 2004 peacefully at St. Joseph?s Hospital. She was born August 4, 1911 in Altoona, PA the daughter of the late Newton and Mary (Fetterolf) Emerick. Her loving husband, Malcolm M. Dailey; granddaughter, Jennifer K. Andrews; grandson, Keith Gregory Noll; brothers, Ralph, Eugene and George Emerick; and sisters, Miriam Bilger, Madeline Royer preceded her in death. She is survived by her beloved children, William P. (Rita) Dailey of Tarrifville, CT; Charles E. (June) Dailey of Corning, NY; Gerald L. Dailey of Meridan, CT; Penny R. (Charles) Noll of Elmira, NY; Linda A. (Edward) Coleman Sr. of Pine City, NY; Judy D. (Rand) Murnane of Big Flats, NY; sister, Marie Bressler of Deltona, FL; along with 17 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and many step-children who thought of her as their mother. Dorothy retired from Danny Discount Fabric after years of dedicated service, and then worked as a volunteer for the Arnot Ogden Medical Center.Dorothy was also a faithful communicant of St. Mary?s Church. Her greatest pride and joy was her family. She also loved cooking, sewing, crocheting and needlework. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, February 5, 2004 from 5 to 7 PM and on Friday, February 6, 2004 from 11:00 to 1:00 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (1:00 PM) Chaplain Mary Ann Klee of St. Joseph?s Hospital will officiate.
