Age 72 of Elmira Heights, NY, died Tuesday at home.Born in Corning, NY, he was the son of the late Merritt and Irene Rosesier Badmone.He was predeceased by a sister, Mary Earl.He is survived by his wife, Elizabeth C. ?Tillie? Vaughn Badmone, four daughters: Patricia and Thomas Ballard of Pensacola, FL, Frances and Edward Barry, Donna Badmone, and Irene Badmone all of Elmira Heights, NY, one sister: June Bulkley of Corning, NY grandchildren, J.T. Ballard of Pensacola FL; Jesse Padgett; Stephen Barry; Tessa Barry; and Expected Barry, all of Elmira Heights, NY; in-laws, Janice & John Masin of Watkins Glen, NY; Jane & Jim Colunio of Elmira, NY;Edward Vaughn of Rock Stream, NY;Dorothy & Carl Noce of Rochester, NY; Art & Mary Vaughn of Campbell, NY; Steve & Patsy Vaughn of Corning, NY; Gerry & Gloria Vaughn of Gainesville, FL; Alice Johnson of Corning, NY, and several nieces and nephews.A veteran of the Korean War, he was very active at one time in the PTA at Fassett School.Donald retired from the Elmira College Maintenence Dept.Friends may call Friday, July 5, 2002 from 1 to 3 & 6 to 8 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY.Funeral services will follow immediately at 8PM with Father Walter Wainwright officiating.Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira.In lieu of flowers, the family request memorial donations may be sent to Southern Tier Hospice, 11751 E.
