Darlene Anne Silver

Was born December 26, 1947 in Elmira, NY the daughter of the late Coy J. and Nellie M. (Norris) Silver Sr. passed away Sunday, July 30, 2006 at the VCU Medical College of Virginia at the of 58. She was also predeceased by siblings, John Hugh Silver, Ernie A. Silver, Coy R. Silver Jr., Billie Jean (Silver) Lovelace, Gerald R. Silver and Opal Lee Silver. Her loving daughters, Stefanie R. (Holton) Aird of Richmond, VA; Linsey A. Holton also of Richmond, VA; much loved grandson, Payton J. M. Aird; brother, Chad D. (Gail) Silver of Elmira, NY survive her, along with several nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews and countless close and treasured friends. Darlene was a long time resident of Elmira, NY and worked for the County Legislator. She most recently worked for Gumenick Properties as an Administrative Assistant in Richmond, VA. Darlene (Anne) was a beautiful person and most dedicated mother and grandmother. She will be dearly missed and always remembered. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Friday, August 4, 2006 from 5:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral Services honoring her life will be held there on Saturday at 11:00 AM. Her friend, Pastor James Snell will celebrate Darlenes services. Interment will follow in the Ashland Cemetery Wellsburg, NY. Memorial donations may be directed to the Massey Cancer Center. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
