Clifford N. Davis

Age 86, passed away on Saturday, November 2nd, 2013 at the Green Home in Wellsboro, PA. Cliff was born in Sayre, PA, December 15th, 1926, the son of the late William H. and Anna (McAtee) Davis. Cliff is survived by his children: Mary (Edward) Springstead of Lowman, NY, Gary Davis of Millerton, PA, Toni Davis of Lowman, NY, Debra Hoishman of Tucson, AZ, Scott (Ela) Davis of Crestview, FL, Robert (Teri) Redder of Elmira, Perri Redder of NY, Wendi (Robert) Farr of Wellsboro along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; along with his daughter-in-law, Sheri Davis of SC. He was predeceased by his wife, Marilyn Davis in August of this year and a son, Clifford R. Davis. Cliff was a United States Navy Veteran of World War II. He worked as an investigator for the Elmira Police Department for a lifetime. He was an avid bowler, and golfer who loved to fish and woodworking. He was a member of the Elmira American Legion Post #443. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Friday, November 8th, 2013 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM. Funeral services will follow the calling hours at 1:00 PM. Graveside in Webb Mills Cemetery will be held privately with full military honors accorded.
