Age 85, has passed on to be with the Lord on January 25, 2005. She was born August 24, 1919 to the late Albert O. and Ida Rose (May) Cryder in Bellefonte, PA.She was a housewife at the time of her passing.She had worked at Sayre Knitting Company in Sayre, PA in the 1930?s and 1940?s.She taught sewing for the Singer Sewing Company in Elmira and after the flood of ?72; she worked for the New York Telephone Company.She was one of the women in Elmira to help form the CYO Cheerleading, where she also was a coach and the Commissioner of Cheerleading.She was a member of The Ladies of Charity, the Cornell Cooperative Home Extension, and the Crafty Ladies of Pine City, as well as a member of the Telephone Company Pioneers.She was an active member of Sts. Peter and Paul Parish since 1940. Cecilia (Cryder) Telech, age 85, of 1112 Country Lane, Pine City, NY was predeceased by her parents, Albert and Ida Cryder, brothers and sister, Martin Cryder, Albert Cryder, Robert Cryder, Charles Cryder, Henry Cryder, Walter Cryder, and Ida May Snyder. She married Paul L. Telech, Sr. on August 3, 1942.She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Paul L. Telech, Sr., children, Cecilia (Robert) Ryan, Paul (Nancy) Telech, Jo-Ann (Doug) Davis, Jack Telech, brother, Herbert Cryder of Florida, sisters-in-law, Anita Lucas and Ella Cryder, brother-in-law, Richard (Rosie) Telech, 13 grandchildren, 18 great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephews, and friends. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, January 27, 2005 from 1 to 3 and 6 to 8 PM. The Reverend Patrick Connor will celebrate a Mass of Christian Burial on Friday, January 28 at 9:30 AM in St. Peter and Paul?s Church, 161 High Street, Elmira, NY. Interment will follow in St. Peter & Paul?s Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Sts. Peter and Paul Parish Center Fund or the new Free Community Kitchen, c/o Sts. Peter and Paul, 161 High Street,Elmira, NY 14901.A ?Candle of Remembrance? may be left in Obituaries at www.olthof.com .
