Amelia Eliza Curren

Age 95 of Pine City, NY, went to be with our Lord on Sunday, November 28th, 2004 at Elcor Health Services, Horseheads, NY.Amelia was predeceased by her loving husband, Louis in 1985; her brothers, Kenneth, James, and George Farnsworth; her great-grandson, Michael Christopher Ryan; her great-granddaughters, Stephanie Lynn Ryan and Brittany Nicole Gunderson. She is survived by her son, Mel (Cookie) Curren; her daughter, Carolyn (Steve) Nichols; grandchildren, Jeannette (Corky) Ryan, Jeannine (Bob) Smith, Eric (Christine) Gunderson, Wendy Gunderson, Tracy (Ray) Gills; great-grandchildren,Jessica and Justin Smith, Jennifer and Meagan Ryan, Devon and Jared Gunderson, Hannah Gills; sister-in-law, Anna Farnsworth; and many other loving relatives and friends, including special friend and neighbor, Betty Davis. Amelia was a farmer?s wife and mother, a school bus owner-operator for 37 years, was an Iszards associate, and starting at age 80, was employed by ?Meals on Wheels? as a meal preparer.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Tuesday, November 30th, 2004 from 1:00 to 3:00 and 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Funeral and committal services will be held there at the conclusion of the calling hours at 8:00 PM. Reverends William Wells and Donald Rockwell will officiate.
