William Seymour Jr.

Seymour, William Jr. age 84 of Elmira, NY passed away surrounded by his loving family Monday June 10th, 2024 at home. He was born May 2nd, 1940 the son of the late William and Gladys (Bellinger) Seymour Sr. Surviving   is his loving and devoted wife and friend of 63 years Micki Seymour of Elmira; William (Terri) Seymour of Elmira, Daughter: Nancy (Bill) Skelly of Franklinton, NC and Bob (Lori) Seymour of Elmira; Grandchildren: Ryan Michael Seymour, Aarika (Jordan) Shay, Ryan Matthew (Ashley) Cantliffe, Kaila Skelly, Brett (Lacy) Skelly, Lindsey (Michael) Weaver of Elmira, Abby (Bryce Beecher) Seymour, Gabby (Daniel Dimon) Seymour; 6 Great grandchildren; Sister: Judy Powers of Elmira; Brothers: James (Sharon) Seymour of Waverly, Jack (Marie) Seymour of Pine City, Gary (Pat) Seymour of Elmira along with numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. Bill worked for Thatcher Glass for 39 years making many devoted friends and memories. He was a communicant  of the Most Holy Name of Jesus, (St. Patrick's Church)  Elmira. He devoted his whole life to working hard so he was able to give his family everything he could. He adored his true love and friend Micki; In his retirement he fought hard to enjoy every moment he could with his family. From weekend family gatherings to fishing in his favorite spot on the lake, Bill knew to value the special times.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY Sunday, June 16th, 2024 from 3:00PM to 6:00PM.  His Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00am Monday, June 17th, 2024 at the Most Holy Name of Jesus (St. Patrick's Church), 604 Park Place, Elmira. Graveside committal prayers will be shared following in the St. Peter and Paul's Cemetery.
