William E. Pearson

PEARSON, William E., age 69, of Horseheads, NY, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, January 1, 2019 in Florida. He was born on June 29, 1949 in Elmira, NY to the late Clarence and Grace (Stumpff) Pearson, Jr. William was predeceased by his daughter, Stephanie Pearson, in 2006. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Marsha Pearson of Horseheads, NY; children, Steven (Angela) Pearson of Ohio; Richard Roy of Horseheads, NY; John (Dianne) Roy of Endicott, NY; Robert (Stacey Michaels) Roy of Florida; 10 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Donna (Arnold) Miller of Horseheads, NY; Jean Andrews of Breesport, NY; and brother, Mark (Christine) Pearson of Millport, NY. William was a veteran of the US Navy and he retired from Coldiron Fuel Company after many years of service. William was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. Family and friends are invited to a Memorial Service on Saturday, January 26, 2019 starting at 10 a.m. at the Olthof Funeral Home located at 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY 14904. Interment service to follow at Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
