William G. Lewis

William G. Lewis Fairport/Elmira -passed away on Thursday,May 24, 2018 at age 93. He was predeceased by his wife of 68 years, Carrie; sisters, Ernestine, Gladys and Olive and their spouses; sister-in-law, Janice and her spouse. Survived by daughters, Jane (Larry) Marquez and Rosemary Evans (Peter); grandchildren, Krissie Marquez (Brian), Leslie Marquez and Kerrie Evans; great-grandchildren, Brynn and Lila Brady; sister, Kay Easton; sister-in-law, Betty Dugo; dearly loved nieces and nephews. William was an Army Veteran who served during WWII. Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, May 29, 2018 at 11 AM at St. Luke Episcopal Church in Fairport, NY. William and Carrie will be laid to rest in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY on Friday, June 1st, 2018 at 1 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Meals-On-Wheels or Chemung County ARC.
