Wendi Hertha Cook

Wendi Hertha Cook - a wonderful wife and loving mother - age 64, passed away on Wednesday, March 7, 2018 in Arlington, TX. Wendi was born on December 8, 1953 in Ithaca, NY to the late Roland Osborne II and Dorothy Grace Boesenberg Osborne. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Roland Osborne II. Wendi, her husband David, and their family served as missionaries with Free Gospel Churches and were based in San Nicolas, Ilocos Norte for 20 years.After coming home, Wendi worked as an R.N. at the Elmira Psychiatric Center for 13 years. Wendi is survived by her loving husband, Reverend David M. Cook; children, Daniel M. (Maria Richelle) Cook, John M.(Rebekah) Cook, Bethany H. (Tega) Ogbebor; Susanna M. (Joshua Paine) Cook and David T. Cook; sister, Sherry (Robert) Stottler; mother-in-law, Jean Cook; sisters-in-law, Elizabeth Osborne and Barbara (Yoel) Attiya; brother-in-law, Thom (Denise) Cook; grandchildren, Mark, Gabriel, Isabelle, Olivia, Zoe and Zane Cook and Zayden Ogbebor; several nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held on Sunday, March 18, 2018 at the Elmira Christian Center from 3 PM to 5 PM with a funeral service to follow at 5 PM. Burial will be held on Monday, March 19, 2018 at 1 PM in the Maple Grove Cemetery.
