Virginia (Ginger) Chamberlain Todd, of Elmira, died on October 29, 2020, at Arnot Ogden in Elmira, due to complications from a fall at the Chemung County Nursing Facility in Elmira, NY. She was born on August 5, 1935 in Elmira, the daughter of Charles and Pauline (Strong) Chamberlain.Ginger graduated from Southside High School, and until her death, she met with many of her classmates monthly for lunch.Ginger owned Chamberlain's Dairy, managed Rosenbaum's, and retired from Williams Tax and Financial, all in Elmira. Ginger is predeceased by her son, Ralph D. Todd.She is survived by her son, Charles H. Todd (Glenn Miller); grandsons, Ryan Todd and Alex Todd; daughter-in-law, Debra Todd; two sisters, Jeanine Lawrence and Kathryn Muccigrosso; along with many loving nieces, nephews, and cousins. Committal and interment of Ginger's remains will be attended by her children at Grace Episcopal Church, Elmira, NY, with the Rev. Jennifer Scott-Jones presiding.Ginger will rest at peace alongside her beloved, deceased son, Ralph D. Todd.Ginger's family looks forward to an opportunity to host extended family and friends at a future time, when COVID concerns retract.
