Age 78, of Lowman, NY was born May 13, 1924 in Triangle, NY, slipped peacefully to be with his Lord January 29, 2003 at home surrounded by his loving family. Victor is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Alice L. (Davenport) Ford; daughters and sons-in-law, Kathleen E. and Thomas Siglin of Vestal, NY; Kolleen and Rev. Robert Howard of Forsyth, MO; son and daughter-in-law, Roland and Patricia Ford of Van Etten, NY; along with 9 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, 2 brothers, 1 sister, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Franklin F. and Beatrice E. (Elliott) Ford Jr.; beloved grandson, Justin Tylor Ford of Van Etten, NY; 1 brother and 1 sister. Victor was a veteran of the US Navy proudly serving his country from 1942 to 1945. He was a 53 year member and Past Master of the Southern Light Lodge # 725, member of the Valley of Corning Scottish Rite, Past Commander of the Masonic War Vets Waverly Post # 45, Past Patron of the Southern Light Chapter # 460 OES, Life member of the Baldwin Volunteer Fire Department and a member of the North Chemung United Methodist Church. Family and Friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service celebrating Victor?s life on Saturday, February 1, 2003 at 1:00 PM in the North Chemung United Methodist Church.
