SWANK, Vernon F.Age 45 Of Chemung NYPassed away on Wednesday May 9, 2001 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Elmira, NY following an extended illness. Surviving him is his son, Vernon Franklin Swank, Daughter Kim Nannette Swank. Friend Kevin, Special Friend, Fawn Cady, Parents Irwin Sr. and Regina Swank, Sisters, Gail Decker, Roberta (Dennis) Moore, Johanna (David I) Kinney, Brothers Irvin II (Dawn) Swank, Harry (Cathy) Swank. Numerous Nieces and Nephews, Grand Nieces and Nephews. Uncle Arley and Aunt Martha Sayman, also friends David Decker Sr., Dick Fulmer, John Davidson, Bill Wiesenforth, Gary Cady and numerous others.Vernon was a 1974 Graduate of Athens High School, Athens PA. He was an over the road truck driver all of his adult life and he enjoyed hunting.Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Saturday May 12, 2001 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM with Funeral Service there at the conclusion of calling Saturday at 12:00 PM The Rev.
