Verda Barbara Stugart

Verda Barbara Stugart, Age 88, of Pauline Ave, Pine City, NY passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 7, 2024, at home.
She was born July 19, 1935, in Corning, NY daughter of the late Alfred & Ellen (Mattison) Welch. Verda is survived by her son Eugene Stugart of Pine City, NY and Florida, her granddaughter Rebecca (Robert) Smith of Santa Rosa, CA, her grandson, Shawn (Breanna) Stugart of Elmira Heights, NY, her great-granddaughters, Nina, Aubrey, and Cobi, and very special nieces and nephews, three sisters-in-law.
She was predeceased by her late husband, John Stugart, two sisters, four brothers, a brother-in-law, and three sisters-in-law.
Verda was a retiree of Corning Glass Works, a home health aide, and finished working with her son at Gene's Racing Collectables. She was an avid euchre player
Family and friends are invited to call on Tuesday, February 13, 2024, from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY. Her Funeral will be held after calling hours at 12:00 PM with Pastor Faith Bogden officiating. Interment will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
