RICKS, Thomas A.Age 65Of Elmira, NYWent to join his heavenly family on Wednesday June 6, 2001He is survived by his loving wife of 45 years: Shirley (Crowningshield) RicksChildren: William (Sandra) Ricks of Wellsburg, NY, Debra (Robert) Robinson, Patricia (Martin) Makowiec, Barbara (Lawrence) Madden, all of Elmira, Timothy (Renee) Ricks of Pine City, NY, 12 grandchildren, brothers and sister in-law: Robert Ricks of Syracuse, NY Fred (Beverly) Ricks of TN, sister: Cheryl (Glenn Huggler)Lonie of Elmira, NY, several nieces, nephews and cousins, and his devoted dog and friend ?Pebbles?. Thomas was predeceased by his granddaughter, Jennifer Ricks, parents: Charles and Margaret Ricks, brother: Richard Ricks, sister: Marilyn Ricks Haynes, and Mother and Father-in-Law: Charles & Gertrude Crowningshield.Thomas was a loving and devoted husband, father and grandfather. His family was the most important part of his life. During his free time, Thomas was an avid gardener and was known to keep a meticulous car.
