Thomas J. Kohout

Thomas J. Kohout Age 70, was born June 18, 1947 in Staten Island, NY the son of Raymond and Doris (Tilson) Kohout passed away peacefully at his home surrounded by his loving family on Saturday, October 7, 2017. He is survived by his partner of 38 years, Patricia (Tolbert) Kohout; beloved children: Timothy Kohout of Endicott, NY; Richard (Donna) Kohout of Johnson City, NY; Candice Kohout of Speedsville, NY; Tamara (Jon) Petticoffer of Endicott, NY; Thomas (Jessica) Kohout II of Elmira, NY; 7 grandsons, 2 granddaughters and 1 great grandson; brother, Raymond (Hannah) Kohout of Syracuse, NY; sister, Helen Castaldo of Staten Island, NY; nephew, Gerald Tolbert; nieces, Summer Cook and Kimberly Esposito; along with several other step-brothers and step-sisters. Thomas retired from Elmira Heat Treat after several years of dedicated service. The love of his life was woodworking and he did so out of his own shop, Kohout Restoration and Refinishing. At his request there will be no services.
