Sylvia Marie Hansen

Of Elmira, NY passed away Wednesday, November 27, 2002 at Arnot Ogden Medical Center. She is survived by her children: Jacquelyn L. (James Mattucci) Kennedy, Jay L. (Laurie) Hansen, Jeffery L. Hansen, and Jane L. (Elmer ?Skip?) Brown Jr. all of Elmira, NY; grandchildren; Richard, Angela, Gary, Jim, Tim, Heather and Wilson; great grandchildren; Nickolaus, Shawna, and Alexandretta; sisters; Frances Henderson, Rosemary Breese and JoAnn Fretz, brothers; Marvin DeWater and Gifford DeWater, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Sylvia was predeceased by her husband, Jack L. Hansen and Daughter Jennifer Hansen. She was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of the Loyal Order Of The Moose, member of the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, a communicant of St. Mary?s Church, and a Red Cross volunteer for more than 40 years. Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Saturday, November 30, 2002 from 2:00 to 4:00 PM with funeral and committal service there Saturday at 4:00 PM. Rev Dennis Christiansen will officiate. Interment will be held in Woodlawn National Cemetery at the convenience of the family. A Candle of Remembrance may be left for the family at www.olthof.com.
