Smouther, Stephen H.Age 48 of Columbus, OH formerly of Elmira, NYdied April 15, 2002 in Columbus, OH.Stephen was the beloved son of Herbert ?Bud? and the late Winnifred Seeley Smouther, born on November 7th, 1953 in Blossburg, Pa. Surviving Stephen are his loving daughters Lindsay Smouther of Columbus, OH; Sara Smouther and McKenzie Smouther, both of Carmel, IN; Teresa Catino, the mother of his children, of Carmel, IN; father, Herbert ?Bud?(Marilyn) Smouther of Casar, NC; brother, Gordon (Linda) Smouther of Trenton, NJ; uncle, Roger (Anne) Smouther of Canton, PA; niece, Bethany Smouther of Trenton, NJ, and nephew, Bryan Smouther of Charlottesville, VA.Stephen was a graduate of the Elmira Southside High School Class of 1972.He received a baseball scholarship to Ryder College in New Jersey, and then became a self-employed insurance agent in Mansfield, Ohio.In the past, he took great pride in working for Elm Chevrolet and the fine people at Werdenberg?s of Elmira.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Thursday, April 18, 2002 from 7 to 9 PM.Funeral services will be held there on Friday, April 19, 2002 at 10 AM with Rev.
