Stephen Hinkel Martin

Age 70, of Oakdale Ave. Elmira, NY passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2002 at the VA Medical Center in Bath, NY. He was born August 10, 1932 in Elmira, NY the son of the late Stephen H. and Ethel (Terry) Martin Sr. He was predeceased by his son, Donald Martin; sister, Phyllis Kise and brother Norman Martin. Stephen is survived by his loving wife, Linda; sons, Mr. & Mrs. Paul Martin of Virginia; James Martin of Elmira, NY; step-children, Robin (Joby) Prior, Lou Ann (Martin) Gobea, Shawn Hovencamp, Brian Hovencamp, Patrick Hovencamp and Shannon Hovencamp all of Elmira, NY; sister-in-law, Linda Martin and brother-in-law, Kenneth Kise both of Elmira, NY; in-laws, Mr. & Mrs. Lowell Johnson of Elmira, NY; along with 10 grandchildren, niece, Deborah Kise; nephews, Norman and Gary Martin, several brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, and other nieces and nephews. Stephen was a veteran of the US Army and proudly served his country in Korea during wartime. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira, NY on Friday, December 13, 2002 from 4 to 6 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours (6 PM). Reverend Edward Crandall will officiate.
