Age 87, of Pine City, NY, passed away on Saturday, October 10, 2020. Stanley was born on September 20, 1933 in Elmira, NY, the son of the late John and Elizabeth (Clinton) Crum. Stan worked his whole career at the Pepsi Bottling Plant in Elmira, NY. He enjoyed bowling, it was his passion for almost his whole life. In his earlier life, he also enjoyed hunting and fishing. In his later life, Stan enjoyed gardening and taking care of his yard. Stan was that guy that if you needed help, he was there. Stan is survived by his brother, John Crum of Chemung, NY; sister-in-law, Pauline Crum of Golden Glow, NY; nieces and nephews, Barbara Shafer of Elmira, NY, Thomas (Susan) Shafer of Pine City, NY, Corrine Shafer of Wellsburg, NY, Deborah Crum of Chemung, NY, Jerry Crum of Waverly, NY, Wendy (William) Owens of Monterey, NY, Tina Crum of Elmira, NY, and Jeffrey Crum of Caton, NY; several great-nieces and great-nephews. Stan was predeceased by his parents; sister and brother-in-law, Frances and Harold Shafer; brother, Donald Crum; sister-in-law, Martha Crum; niece, Sandra (Roger) Sterling; and nephew, John Shafer. Friends and family are invited to attend a graveside service on Wednesday, October 21, 2020 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY.Rev. Aaron Stearns officiating.
