Sondra L. Drake

Drake, Sondra Lovell age 64, of Elmira, NY, formerly of Binghamton, NY and Alabama passed away Tuesday, December 11th, 2001 after a courageous battle with cancer. Sondra was the beloved daughter of the late Leon Lovell and Margaret Ryan Lovell. She was born in Elmira, NY December 6th, 1937. Surviving Sondra are: her loving children; Kim and John Domanski of Elmira, Tina and Bob Huffman of Alabama, Mike and Jeanette Drake of Elmira, Peggy and Todd Webb of Elmira, cherished grandchildren; Chris, Stephanie, Amanda, Emily, Brian, Lindsey, Michael, and Tim, sister and brother-in-law Patricia and Byron Copp of Horseheads, NY and many other loving in-laws, several nieces, nephews, cousins, and very special friends Marcia Lyn Hayes and Kathy Graziano. Sondrawas predeceased by the husband that she loved and missed Richard Drake in 1999. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, Thursday, December 13th, 2001 2:00 to 4:00PM and 7:00 to 9:00PM. Funeral and Committal services will be held there on Friday, December 14th, 2001 at 11:00am. The Reverend Howard Hunt will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY. Sondra was a member of the North Presbyterian Church. She worked in housekeeping for the Lourdes Hospital in Binghamton, NY and many establishments in Alabama where she resided not long ago. For many years she worked as a secretary for the Claire H. Schneck and Sons here in Elmira.She was a loving mother and grandmother who loved to play bingo.Sondra?s other hobbies include; crocheting, reading and doing puzzles.
