Sharon L. Burrell

Burrell, Sharon L. of Brockton, MA formerly of Elmira, NY passed away into peace surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, January 23rd, 2018. Sharon was predeceased by her father, Charles R. Burrell in 1998; mother, Rhea A. Burrell in 2002 and sister, Juanita in 1971. Sharon worked in the banking industry for over forty years and retired from Banco Santander. Surviving Sharon are brothers, Charles II (Jacqueline) Burrell of Whitman, MA, Michael (Susan) Burrell of Elmira, NY and John (Sue) Burrell of Elmira, NY; sister, Lori (Daniel) Richardson of Elmira, NY; dear cousin, Carol Marczyk of Brockton, MA and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces, grand-nephews and friends. Memorials in Sharon L. Burrell’s name may be directed to the Dana Farber Cancer Institute, 450 Brookline Avenue Boston, MA 02215 for uterine cancer research. Family and friends will be received at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, on Sunday, January 28, 2018 from 4 PM to 6 PM.Funeral and committal services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours at 6 PM. Interment will be held privately at the convenience of the family in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Sharon was a devoted daughter, sister, cousin, and aunt who will be dearly missed.
