December 28, 1935 — September 5, 2002

Age 66 of Carpenter Rd., Pine City, NY. Passed away on Thursday September 5, 2002. A native of Blossburg PA, Scott is a graduate of Blossburg High School. He received his bachelor?s degree from Mansfield State College and his master?s degree from Elmira College. A newspaperman, Donaldson served as reporter, columnist and City Editor of the Elmira Star Gazette. He also served as advertising director of the Ithaca Journal and the Tarentum News. He was a broker with Ambrose Real Estate. Donaldson was director of the Artic League and Lend A Hand. He was an avid hunter. He was founding member and first president of the White Tail Buckhunters Association and a member of the Pine City Baptist Church. He is survived by his wife, Ada F. Donaldson, daughter and son-in-law, Melanie and Tim Callahan and son and daughter?in-law, Lance and Janine Donaldson, grandchildren, Cassidy, Rory, and Patrick Callahan, Scott T. II, Jordan, and Victoria Donaldson, several sisters and brothers?in-law, nieces, and nephews. Family and Friends are invited to call at Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. on Friday September 6, 2002 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM with Funeral Service there Saturday at 12:00 Noon. The Rev. Horace Stoddard will officiate. Graveside services will immediately follow in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park, Elmira, NY. Those wishing may leave a ?Candle of Remembrance? at www.olthof.com.
