Sandra L. Jensen

Sandra Lee (Collins) Jensen, a native of Elmira, NY and resident of Pine City, NY, passed away on Monday, May 27, 2024. She was 76 years old.

Sandy was part of the graduating class of Elmira Free Academy in 1966. She had several jobs as a cashier before starting her career as a bank teller at Chemung Canal Trust Company where she spent 25 years. She deeply loved her family, friends, and animals.
She was preceded in death her mother, Marisa Tarchi.

She is survived by  her husband of 50 years, Michael L. Jensen; her children, Brad Munson, Brian Munson, Brent Jensen and wife Lisa, and Scott Jensen; her six grandchildren - Justin Munson, kaydee Munson, Cameron Munson, Logan Jensen, Bryce Jensen, and Zander Jensen; brother Mark Collins and wife Pamela, her niece Rina Murphy and husband Chris, her nephew Jason Collins and wife Christina; and half sibling Sean and Tina Kerbein.

The family would like to thank the amazing staff at Guthrie Corning Hospital for their professionalism.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to the Chemung County SPCA.

Family and friends are invited to calling hours on Tuesday, June 4, 2024 from 3:00pm until 6:00pm when her memorial service will begin, at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY 14904
