Sandra J. Covell

ELMIRA – Sandra J. Covell, 73, of Elmira, passed away on Friday, August 28, 2020 at Chemung County Nursing Facility.Born on January 20, 1947, she was the daughter of the late Milford Seeley and Jean (Clemens) Petersen.She attended Southside High School in Elmira. Sandra was a lifetime member of the VFW.She also enjoyed making dolls and crocheting dresses for them.More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her family.She will be deeply be missed by anyone who knew her. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Richard Covell. Survivors include her children, Valerie Brown (James Cade) of Binghamton, Daniel Burdick of Lowman, Lloyd Brown, Jr. of Horseheads; 14 grandchildren; many great grandchildren; her siblings, Larue Seeley, Cheryl (Sam) Ruth, Milford (Teri) Seeley, William Seeley, Susan Dunn, Martin Seeley, Steve Seeley. Services will be private and at the convenience of Sandra’s family.
