Ruth B. Nicol

Ruth B. Nicol, 92 of Elmira, NY passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2018 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Rochester, NY to the late Roy and Alma Bradstreet. She was also predeceased by her loving husband of 52 years, Allan Nicol; and her sister, Muriel Hannah. Ruth is survived by her daughters, Kathleen (Robert) Stein, Judy (Don) Wojtyna and Susan (Victor) Moe; grandchildren, Theresa, Erica and Bobby Stein, Tommy and Joey Wojtyna and Adam Moe; great-grandchildren, Landon and Grayson Stein, Alexia and Madison Moe. Ruth enjoyed spending time with her family and friends, traveling, and especially loved their summer home on Keuka Lake, making many memories. She was a long-time member of the Lake Street Presbyterian Church and co-owner of Nicol Associates. Ruth was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend who will be missed by all. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to The Salvation Army, 414 Lake Street, Elmira, NY 14901 or Chemung County Humane Society & SPCA, 2435 Route 352, Elmira, NY 14903. Family and friends are invited to call on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 11 AM to 12 PM at Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY. Funeral service will immediately follow at 12 PM. Burial will be private in the Woodlawn National Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
