Green, Ruth S. Formerly of Mt. Zoar St., Elmira Age 88, passed away late Friday evening July 27, 2001 at the Penn Yan Manor Nursing Home in Penn Yan. Born July 4, 1913 in Penn Yan, NY she was a daughter of the late Chris and Eva Webster Sorensen. Surviving are: Niece, Gail (Richard) Yonge of Penn Yan, NY Nephew, Robert (Marilyn) Shaw of Naples, FL Grandniece, Segrid (Michael) Dombroski Grandnephews, Lance (Christine) Yonge, Phillip (Stephanie) Yonge Numerous Cousins Good Friend, Barbara Zacko of Horseheads, NY She was predeceased by;Her husband, Fred GreenSisters, Marie Shaw, June Sorensen Brothers, Bill Sorensen, Orlo Sorensen Ruth was a member of the Westminster Presbyterian Church in Elmira. She was an avid craftsperson Family and friends are invited to call Tuesday, July 31, 2001 from 10 to 11 AM at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave., Elmira. The funeral and committal service will be held there at the conclusion of visitation (11 AM). Interment will be in Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira at the convenience of the family.
