Ruth J. 'Boochie" Tice

Ruth "Boochie" Tice, age 96, of Elmira, NY, passed away surrounded by loved ones at Arnot Ogden Medical Center on Wednesday, November 4, 2020. Ruth was born in Tioga, PA to the late George & Jennie Burrows. In addition to her parents, Ruth was also preceded in death by her husband and father of her children, Robert Stocum; son Ronald Stocum; husband Roy Tice; brothers, Leon Burrows and Charles Burrows; and sisters, Clarabell Zremski, Lillian Wheeler and Doris Cook. She is survived by daughter Sandra Rollins; grandchildren, Larissa (Mike) Singleton, Todd (Connie) Ryhal, Robin (Aaron) Moon, and Ruth (Harold) Stocum; 10 great-grandchildren; 2 special great-great grandchildren Jhamairah and Zhavier Maxwell; along with several nieces and nephews; and special niece Debra Wheeler and great-nephew Darod Wheeler. Ruth is also survived by her loving, caring fur baby "Chubbs." Due to Covid, private funeral services will be held at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Penna. Ave., Elmira, at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Ruth's honor to Animal Care Sanctuary East Smithfield, PA.
