Rose Ann Phillips

Phillips, Rose Ann, age 76 of Wellsburg, NY, passed away peacefully surrounded by family at home on Friday, September 1st, 2017. Rose Ann was born in Elmira, NY to the late Frank and Helen Aloi. She is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Richard Phillips, Sr.; sons, Richard "Rick" (Sheri Rowe) Phillips, Jr. and Raymond "Randy" (Lisa Heller) Phillips; daughter, Rebecca (Scott) Cole; three grandchildren, Kaden, Arianna, and Cullin Cole; brother, Francis (Trish) Aloi; sister, Charlotte (Robert) Hayner; brother-in-law, Carl Phillips along with many nieces, nephews, cousins and close friends. Rose Ann graduated from EFA High School in 1958. She was a clothes buyer for Iszards in Elmira, NY, a gourmet cook and a second mother to all the kids in the neighborhood as well as a one of a kind wife, mother and grandmother. At her request there will be no calling hours. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Rose Ann's honor to CareFirst, formerly Southern Tier Hospice, 3805 Meads Creek Road, Painted Post, NY 14870, or the charity of your choice. Rose Ann's family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at CareFirst for all their love and care.
