Ronald Ival White

White, Ronald Ival  lifelong resident of the Pine City community passed away on Thursday, July 20th, 2023 at the Corning Center in Corning, NY. Ron was the son of the late Victor Ival and Ruth Jesse (Morey) White. He was born in Elmira, NY on April 13, 1936.  He is survived by his long time loving and caring companion Nancy Tapp of Pine City, NY; brother, Larry (Valerie) White of Bend, OR; daughters, Cindra (Victor Sr.) Sinopoli and Dawn Larsen all of Rochester, NY; sons, Christopher of Elmira, NY and Michael (Rebecca) Tapp of Brookville, KY; grandchildren, Harrison and Spencer, Theresa, Victor Jr., Peter, and Sharmeer Sinopoli, Nicole, and Christopher Larsen, and Dylan Tapp; great grandchildren, Anthony, Thomas, Mollie, and Mathew.  Ron was predeceased by his sister, Joan White.  Ron was a Nascar fan, an avid bowler, and loved to rebuild cars.  Ron worked for Trayer Products for 26 years until his retirement in November 1995.  Family and friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on July 24, 2023 from 1PM to 3PM, with funeral services to follow the calling hours. Private graveside services will be held at the Forest Lawn Memorial Park.
