Roger E. Saxbury, Sr.

Roger E. Saxbury, Sr., Age 78
of Elmira, NY, passed away on Friday, January 12, 2024, after a long battle with cancer.
Roger was born on October 3, 1945, in Corning, NY, the son of the late Oliver and Leona (Twist) Saxbury.
Roger loved spending time with his dogs, playing scratch-off tickets, and trips to Tioga Downs.
He is survived by his son, Mark Saxbury of PA; brother, Donald Saxbury, Sr.; sister, Shirley Daley; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Roger is also survived by many friends and family.
Besides his parents, Roger was predeceased by his son, Roger Saxbury, Jr.; brothers, Bob Saxbury, Paul Saxbury, Bucky Saxbury; sisters, Gladys Palmer, Dorothy White, Beverly Saxbury; and his close friend John Gearhart. The family wants to thank Amber Lewis for being there at the end and taking care of Roger.
