Robert (Bobby) L. Winslow “Porky”, 68, passed away at Schuyler Hospital on January 08, 2018 in Montour Falls, NY. Bobby was born on December 13, 1949 in Corning, NY to his parents, Robert Winslow and Beatrice (Call) Winslow. Bobby and his family moved to Beaver Dams where he worked as a parts manager at Schweitzer Aircraft where he was very well known and loved. He retired in 2012 after 47 years of dedication. He then spent his retirement enjoying time with his kids, holding jam sessions, and travelling across country with his good friend, Don Styles, and the talented fiddler, Jeff Wisor. Bobby had a heart of gold, and was a dedicated family man that loved his children deeply. Bobby is survived by his daughters, Melissa and Sarah Winslow; his son, Robert Winslow; his granddaughter, Winnie Bee Gullo (after his late mother Beatrice,“Bee”); and his sister, Dollas (Dolly) Fuller. Bobby was an extremely gifted guitar player. He played lead guitar and sang for bands like, Trick Ryder, Signature, NightRyders, White Mustache, Bunk House, and others as well. There will be a ceremony on Saturday, January 20, 2018 at Bethany Lutheran Church located on 256 South Walnut Street in Elmira, New York. The calling hours will take place at 1:00 p.m. with a service at 3:00 p.m. All are welcome to attend and celebrate Bobby’s beautiful journey through life.
