Inman, Robert E. of Elmira, NY Age 75, went home to be with his Lord, December 19, 2001 peacefully at the Chemung County Nursing Facility. He was the son of the late Jon D. and Ileta (Tichenor) Inman Cronkwrite. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret Birney Inman; son, Kenneth Inman of San Antonio, TX; daughter, Kathleen Inman of Elmira, NY; grandson, Eric (Jennifer) Inman of San Antonio, TX; great granddaughter, Jillian Inman also of San Antonio, TX; brother, James (Carolyn) Inman of Madison Heights, VA; sisters, Kay (Irwin) McElwee of Kissimee, FL; Toni (Jack) Jones of Land O?Lakes, FL; aunt Gladys Richards of Waverly, NY; uncle Herm (Rachel) Theetge of Sebring, FL; along with several nieces and nephews. His son, Thomas Inman, brother, Ernest Inman and sister, Glenda Inman, predeceased him. Bob, as he was affectionately known, was self-employed as a home improvement contractor for over 40 years. His hobbies were genealogy research, history and model railroads. He was a member of the Southside Baptist Church where he was active as a Sunday school teacher, youth worker, Deacon and Trustee. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Saturday, December 22, 2001 from 2 to 4 PM. Funeral Services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours. (4 PM) The Reverend Donald Rockwell will officiate. Interment will take place in the Chemung Cemetery, Chemung, NY at the convenience of the family. Memorial Donations in the name of Robert E.
