Richard Edward Doughty

Age 67 of Horseheads, NY died Friday, July 12, 2002 at home. He was born August 19, 1934 in Sharon, CT, the son of the late Roy and Mae Hatch Doughty. In addition to his parents, his brother, William Doughty, predeceased Richard. Richard served in the US Navy during the Korean War. He was a graduate of the University of Hartford and was employed by Pratt & Whitney in E. Hartford, CT for many years. He is survived by his wife, Anne Marie; a daughter, Karin (Patrick) Jameson of Saratoga Springs, NY; and two sisters, Helen Fenn of Millerton, NY and Erma Franks of Rhinebeck, NY. Family and friends are invited to attend a memorial service at 11 AM on Monday, July 22, 2002 in the small chapel at St. Mary Our Mother Church, 816 W. Broad St., Horseheads, NY 14845. Rose Mary Bloist will officiate. Interment will follow in the St. Mary Our Mother Cemetery.
