Rhea A. Burrell

Passed away into peace surrounded by her loving family at her home, Sunday, June 9th, 2002. Rhea was born in Elmira, NY August 31, 1927 to the late Charles and Consuelo Zuker Shook. Surviving Rhea are her beloved children; Sharon Burrell of Brockton, MA,Charles II(Jacqueline)Burrell of Boston,MA, Michael(Susan)Burrell of Elmira, NY, John(Sue)Burrell of Elmira, NY, Lori (Daniel) Richardson of Elmira, NY, 9 Grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren. Brothers and sisters; Ruby Coffey of AZ; Newt Shook of CA; Betty Marczyk of Elmira, NY; Harry Shook of AZ and many nieces and nephews. Rhea was predeceased by her husband Charles R. Burrell in 1998 and daughter Juanita in 1971 and numerous loving sisters and a brother. Family and friends will be received at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY, Thursday,June 13th, 2002 4:00 to 7:00PM.Funeral and committal services will be held there at the conclusion of calling hours at 7:00PM. The Reverend Vince Cooper will officiate. Interment will be at the convenience of the family in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park. Rhea was a devoted wife and mother. Her family was truly the most important priority in her life. She cherished the life she lived with her husband Charles and her children and grandchildren everyday. Memorials in Rhea A.
