Rena Mae Marshall

Marshall, Rena Mae Thatcher Glass Retiree Age 78 of Wisner Street Elmira, NY. Passed away Monday, April 30, 2001 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center after a brief illness. She was born July 23, 1922 in Wellsboro, PA the daughter of the late Samuel and Hazel Snyder. She was preceded in death by her son, James H. Marshall in 1961 and husband Leslie Marshall in 1986. Her survivors include: son and daughter-in-law, Leslie (John) and Mary Ann Marshall of Horseheads, NY; brothers, Cecil Snyder of Harrisburg, PA; Tom Snyder of Avis, PA; Floyd Snyder of Wellsboro, PA; Samuel Snyder of California; grandchildren, Debra L. (Randy) Marsh, James A. Marshall, Lesley A. (John) Knapp, John S. Marshall; along with 7 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Rena retired from Thatcher Glass in 1975 after 25 years of faithful service and was a member of the American Legion Clarence R. Oliver Post # 154 Ladies Auxiliary Elmira Heights. Family and friends are invited to attend Funeral Services at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY on Wednesday, May 2, 2001 at 9:00 AM. John P. Knapp will officiate. Interment will follow in the Woodlawn Cemetery, Elmira, NY.
