Schaffer, Raymond E. age 75 of Elmira, NY Formerly of Bethany Court Yards, Horseheads.Passed away July 3rd, 2001 at the Bethany Manor.Surviving Raymond are his loving wife, Helen Brinkerhoff Schaffer, daughter and son in law, Holly and Greg Carter of Horseshoe, NC and son and daughter in law, Charles and Judy Brinkerhoff of Pine City, NY;5 grandchildren,Raymond, Zachory, and Noah Carter, and Jeffrey and Jason Brinkerhoff. It is the wishes of the family that Raymond?s services remain private. The family will provide all necessary flowers. He was very active in his community as a Volunteer Fireman, avid bowler, and softball player and past director of the Seneca County Agricultural Society.
