Quentin Starr Cook

Quentin S. Cook Age 88 of Elmira, NY formerly of Pine City, NY passed away at St. Joseph?s Hospital.He is the son of the late William Frances Cook and Grace Elizabeth Minor.Quentin was born in Angelica, NY.Surviving Quentin are: his beloved wife of 60 years, whom he married on July 3rd 1941, Betty, daughters and sons-in-law; Deborah and Fran Barrett of Waterloo, NY, Roberta and Jack Murray of Mechanicsville, VA, Jacquelyn and Roger Storch of Traverse City, MI, grandchildren; Patrick and Julie Murray, Michael and Lisa Murray, Edward Storch, great-grandchildren; Malorey Murray, Shawn Murray, Olivia Storch, sisters and brothers-in-law; Barbara Dove and Paul Zawko both of Elmira, NY, Ernest and Betty Jacque of Elmira Heights, NY, Helen and Charles Many of Daytona Beach Shores, FL, and several loving friends and neighbors in Southport, NY.Quentin was a longtime member of the Southport Planning Board.He was a 55 year devoted brother of the Masonic Lodge #350 of Chemung, NY.Quentin was a retired estimator for F&M Howell Box Co.He was an avid hunter and fisherman and had a great love for both the outdoors and black labs.Quentin was also very proud of his home in Pine City, NY.Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc. 1050 Pennsylvania Ave. Elmira, NY 14904 on Saturday, February 2, 2002 from 2 until 3:30pm. A memorial service will be held at the conclusion of calling hours at 3:30pm.The Rev.
