Phyllis A. Mood

Age 68 of Elmira, NY Passed into peace unexpectedly Thursday, January 9th, 2003 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Phyllis was born in Elmira, NY December 10th, 1934 to the late Albert and Leona Thompson Adams. She was the beloved wife of the late Robert Mood Sr., who stepped to the Lord before her, on September 9th, 2001. Phyllis is survived by her wonderful children, Robert Jr. and Kathy Mood of Pine City, NY; David and Lisa Mood of Canton, PA; Howard and Bernadette Mood of Elmira, NY; Brenda and Raymond Ketter of Webb Mills, Pine City, NY; 10 grandchildren, Matthew, Melanie, Rebecca, Jacob, Graceanah, Maura, Raymond III, Timothy, Kayla, and Justin; sister, Alice Thorn of Horseheads, NY; brothers, Lyle (Carol) Adams of New Paltz, NY; Norman Adams of Horseheads, NY; Cliff (Gladys) Adams of Palm Beach, FL; aunt, Margaret Adams, of Elmira, NY; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends are invited to call at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Avenue, Elmira, NY on Sunday, January 12th, 2003 from 1 PM to 4 PM. Funeral and committal services will be held at the conclusion of the calling hours at 4PM, with the Reverend Donald Rockwell officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family in the Woodlawn National Cemetery, where Phyllis will be placed in peace next to her dearly missed husband, Robert. Phyllis was a devoted mother and grandmother, enjoying all the wonderful times with her family. She loved puzzles and the many friends she made at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center, Dialysis Unit. The care and companionship they gave her over many years truly made her many treatments easer.
