Philomena P. Raub

HORSEHEADS – Philomena P. Raub, 79, of Horseheads, passed away unexpectedly at Arnot Ogden Medical Center in Elmira on Monday, February, 1, 2021.Born on August 10, 1941 in Elmira, NY, she was the daughter of the late Lucian and Laura (Viglione) Girardi. For many years, Philomena worked as an accountant for Arnot Ogden Medical Center.She went on to work for Bethany Village in Horseheads until her retirement.She was an active and devoted member of His Tabernacle Family Church in Horseheads.She enjoyed playing bingo and Hay Day.More than anything, she cherished the time that she shared with her children, 9 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. In addition to her parents, she was predeceased by her husband, Joseph B. Raub. She is survived by her last surviving sibling, her brother, Nicholas (Judy) Girard of Elmira; her daughters, Nanette (Carmen) Guidi of Newfield, Bernadette (Brian) DeVaul of Horseheads, Suzette (Michael) Ector of Horseheads; her grandchildren, Jordan (Bill) Henderson of Chenango Forks, Morgan Mowry (Levi Stanley) of Elmira, James Mowry (Karissa Hildabrandt) of Millport, Alexxis Ector of Binghamton, Dylan Ector of Horseheads, Carmin and Nicole Guidi of Newfield, Wyatt Ector of Horseheads, Jacob Guidi of Newfield; her great-grandchildren, Mia and Logan Stanley, Emiliah, Jace and Jaxson Mowry. Friends may call from 1-3 pm on Thursday, February 4, 2021 at His Tabernacle Family Church, 16 Level Acres Drive in Horseheads.A memorial service will immediately follow at 3 pm at the church with Pastor Daniel Dykes, officiating.
