Phillip W. Comfort

Phillip W. Comfort Of Pine City, NY, age 76, passed away peacefully with his family by his side on Monday, August 21, 2017 at the Arnot Ogden Medical Center. Phillip left behind his loving wife of 56 years, Margaret (Jenkins) Comfort. He also left behind his two children: son, Michael Comfort; daughter, Shellie (Tyler) Easton; grandchildren: Mallorie Gublo, Hillarie (Chucky) Green, Callie and Trey; great grandchildren: Alex and Hallie; brothers: Lynn (Grace) Comfort, Alan (Lillian) Comfort and Ronald Comfort; special sister-in-laws, Kay Ackerman and Theresa Jenkins; good friend, Dick Bovaird; along with several nieces, nephews and cousins. Phillip retired early from the Purolator Company to become a "nanny" to his granddaughters that were his world. Phillip was an avid outdoorsman and longtime member of the AA Community. Recently preceded in death by his niece, Kelly Hollister. In accordance with Phil's wishes there will be no prior calling hours. Family and friends are invited to gather at the Jenkins family cemetery (behind Bradley farms) on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 1:00 pm. Reverend Joy Storch will officiate.
