Patricia K. Crane

Patricia Kircher Crane, 64, of Pine City, NY, loving wife, mother, sister & friend passed away Friday, January 5, 2018 with family & friends by her side. She was born on September 14, 1953 in Pittsburgh, PA, the daughter of the late Gerard & Mildred (Merkel) Kircher. Pat was a graduate of Slippery Rock State College in PA & received her Master's Degree in Education, Reading Specialist from Elmira College. She retired from Ernie Davis Middle School, where she was the librarian. She loved working with students & teachers & made a positive impact on many lives. She leaves behind her husband of 41 years, James Crane, her son Daniel Crane, daughter Emily (Jon) Viera, brother John (Joan) Kircher, sister Kate (Dave) Guillod, 1 Niece & 4 Nephews. She loved to read & quilt. She gifted many of her quilts to friends & family. She also loved to attend Corning Music Association concerts, Elmira Little Theatre plays & the Broadway Series Shows at the Clemens Center with her husband. Pat will sorely be missed. Family & friends are invited to gather at the Olthof Funeral Home, Inc., 1050 Pennsylvania Ave, Elmira, NY, Thursday, January 11, 2018 from 1PM to 4PM. Funeral Services celebrating Patricia's life will follow at 4PM. Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the St. Peter & Paul's Cemetery.
